rolling thunder run

memorial day weekend is always marked around here by the rolling in of thousands of bikes for the annual rolling thunder run. its kind of an awesome event and always nice to have people visit dc and see how nice it is in real life: it really is. there are events scheduled throughout the weekend...watch out for media whore and uninvited guest sarah palin and her brood, though: she might just quit in the middle of the ride.

march on washington

uhmmm...possible gridlock warning to everyone in the washington dc metro area: there will be a 'march' on washington this weekend involving bikers...really old bikers: tea baggers, er, tea party-ers, i mean. after dealing with this slow moving geriatric crowd of angry-ness the weekend before last during glen beck's hate rally, i am not looking forward to a crew of dazed and confused two wheelers attempting to navigate the nation's capital during the black family reunion. whatever...maybe they will realize that here in dc, everybody gets along. just in case you are interested, the speakers are top conservatives (?)ginni thomas of liberty central, best selling author larry schweikart, ned ryan of american majority, lori parker from'as a mom',and many more!
